How Can I Help FreeCon Out?

Our IndieGoGo campaign is officially up and running!

Every year FreeCon runs an Indiegogo campaign, to raise as many funds as we can to supplement the quality of the convention. And it only runs for a limited time. Additionally, there are some reward tiers with cool swag for helping us out. This goes into printing, t-shirts, and media guests for you, the attendee, to enjoy. Please consider donating, or at least sharing the link with your friends. If you'd like to help out by volunteering your time and manpower, we'd also love to hear from you! Under the 'Registration' tab at the top of this website, you will find 'Volunteer Registration', which will let us know your availability. We do offer volunteer hours if you're a student, and t-shirts!

Where to Stay During the Con?

*The window for reserving a room in our official room block has officially closed for the year*

Well we got you covered! Head on over to Hotel Info page to reserve your room in the FreeCon 13 official room block at the Courtyard Marriott Capital.

What Do I Do When I Arrive?

General parking will be in the Woodward garage, which is very easy to find once you pull in off Tennessee St. You will have to cross Woodward from the garage by foot to reach Registration. Upon arrival, attendees will check in at the front of the Main Events Room (Moore Auditorium), towards the back of the Studen Union. There will be separate lines for those who pre-registered, so consider going to 'Pre-Registration' under the Registration tab before the con to cut the line! You will be registered otherwise on the spot, and you'll receive a map of FreeCon's other spaces. You will also be checked here for inappropriate props or cosplays. If you have an inappropriate cosplay (see 'Cosplay Restrictions?), you will be asked to change or wash before admission, and inappropriate props will simply be checked and kept for you to pick up when you leave.
